Bantayan Island


Location:

Bantayan Island is composed of quaint rural municipalities striving to keep up with the 21st century. Electric power is supplied by a local cooperative (BANELCO). Communication is provided by PLDT and other mobile cellular companies. Also within its immediate beach vicinity is a government owned feeder airport just a little over a kilometer away. In the main commercial distrcit 10 kilometers away, RCPI, a district hospital, a local cable TV station and a variety of small establishments provide telegraphic, medical, television and other commercial services.
